Dear Precious Friends in the Ministry!

Europe Marches on. I’m sure you are all aware of the changes that are rapidly taking place here in Europe, but I don’t think everyone is fully aware just how dramatic those changes really are. In brief, the monetary exchange rate between Europe and America is badly affecting us Americans here to the point where more and more missionaries are having to leave the field to raise more support; secondly, the European people are blindly committed to becoming a Roman super-power that is setting itself up to be the literal “saviour” of the world’s problems; and lastly, there are fewer and fewer Bible believing missionaries even coming to Europe to win the lost! Please, don’t forget about lost souls in Europe, and especially in Ireland – they are tough to win to Christ for sure, but are worth every sacrifice we can make! Thank you for sending us here!

Men’s Retreat - Studying the Life of Timothy

Revival 2005. For nine days in March, we saw God do some very special things in our midst here in Ireland during our Revival Meeting. Pastor Tom Benson from First Bible Baptist Church of Connecticut, came and preached, and the John Young family from Washington State came and sang! All I can say is God blessed mightily! Two souls were saved: a teenager named Ronan O’D, and a man named Gary M! We also counted 22 first time visitors during meetings, half of which have continued to keep coming since then and there are at least five people who are very near to getting saved as I write! Our attendance for the meetings reached 82 souls. Revival is not all about numbers, but about Christians getting on fire for God and His kingdom. This revival, we got both!

Preaching in Scotland. I was privileged to be invited to fly to Scotland in February to preach a Mission’s Conference there and God greatly blessed that Church’s heart for giving for Missionaries, and for the salvation of souls world-wide! They are such a precious church family, and God is going to do some great things with them there. Also, getting to preach on the street in downtown Dundee was an awesome experience!

Men’s Retreat 2005. Well, the highlight of my year has come and gone – our annual Men’s Retreat! We had a total of 41 men gather in the beautiful mountains of Killarney for a concentrated attempt at learning how to be Faithful Men. Every year we study the life of a faithful man in the Bible, and this year we studied young Timothy. What an amazing two days of meetings we had. God changed many lives, and really worked on all of us. Six other missionaries and some of their men were at the Retreat, and made the meetings the incredible blessing that it has always been! Pray that from among the Irish men who came, several would answer God’s call to preach and pastor churches here for the glory of God!

Need Helpers in Bible Clubs and Youth Camps this Summer. We have many outreach activities this summer that could use some helpful hands (and backs) for the sake of souls! If you have a desire to help for even just a week, contact me please!

Prayer Requests

·   Upcoming Events to pray for! Our Evangelism Conference in April, and the many outreach events that will be going on this Summer! They won’t mean anything without God’s blessing upon them!

·   There are dozens of people we are working on to get saved. Please pray specifically for Sandra O’C, Sean H, Nora, Michael M, Ken D who is seriously ill, Frank L, Mitchell M, David D, and the many visitors that came during the Revival – please pray that our efforts bear much fruit in these lives here!

·   Pray also for God to bless our Church Planting team consisting of my family, and the Greg Durham family – that we would work well together, and be greatly used of God.

·   Finally, keep praying for us to be able to buy property here in Ireland!

May God bless you all mightily – We Love you and Thank God for you!
