The Biblical Requirements For Your to Live Up to, begin in Acts 13:1,2 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. |

| Have you been Scripturally baptized as a believer? | |
| Are you already ministering to the Lord and to people in a local church? | |
| Are you an able teacher of Scripture already? Have you taught adults yet or just children’s classes? | |
| Are you able and ready to preach the Bible? | |
| Have you fasted and prayed and made yourself ready to do whatever the Lord asks of you? | |
| Are you a member in good standing in a Bible believing Baptist Church? | |
| Does your pastor believe you are up to helping on a foreign mission field? | |
| Are you ordained as a minister of the Gospel? You don’t have to be, but it is a good thing to be ordained. | |
| Are you a true servant, able to work together as a team, under the head pastor/missionary’s authority, and right along side the pastor’s efforts? | |
| Are you able to actually win souls? Not just go visiting people, or talking to people, but winning them to faith in Jesus Christ? | |
| Do you know your spiritual gifts? | |
| Are you fully financed? | |
| If you are not fully financially supported, Are you willing and ready to go on deputation and raise the financial and prayerful support that you will need to stay in Ireland and serve the Lord here? | |
| Do you have a mission sending agency? | |
| Have you worked a normal job? For how long? Do you have a letter of recommendation for at least one previous employer? | |
| Are you married? | |
| Do you have children at home? | |
| Are you determined to succeed in starting churches? | |
| Are you Able to fail? What will happen to you if you fail at this effort? The effort that goes into starting a Biblical kind of a church is staggering! Especially in Europe. And it should be. You must understand that NONE of our efforts are guaranteed to succeed like we may want. Are you able to sacrifice everything, and leave the results up to God, and just keep going? Jesus said in Luke 9:5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. Acts 13:51 But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium. | |
